Tuttipaesi performs in the Gr. 1 Ashland Stakes at Keeneland

The Italian Stakes winner Tuttipaesi (2010 f. By Clodovil – Ruby Ridge by Acatenango) finished second to Emollient in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes in Keeneland. The Team Valor Ladies’ import was bred by a long-term client and friend of the Burns family – Eithne Hamilton.

 

Tuttipaesi had previously won the Ginger Brew Stakes in her stateside debut demonstrating a stunning turn of foot and was placed third in the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride Stakes on the 2nd of March before trying the polytrack on Saturday. In the Ashland Stakes Tuttipaesi outfinished Kitten Point, the filly that beat her into third at Gulfstream, for place honours.
