Rathasker delighted to be part of ITM Stallion Trail
19 Jan 2015
We are delighted to be part of the inaugural ITM Irish stallion trail. From Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th of January our doors will be open.
The extract from Rathasker's page in the ITM booklet attached to the event, "Rathasker Stud is owned and managed by the Burns family. Excitingly, they have two first season sires on offer ; Bungle Inthejungle a son of Exceed And Excel who comes from one of the fastest 5f families, he won the G3 Molecomb and Cornwallis Stakes. The other new stallion is Rathasker home bred Es Que Love (winner of the 2014 G2 Lennox Stakes from 2013 champion 2yo Toormore and G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest winner Garswood), he is bred on the same Northern Dancer / Ahoonora cross as New Approach and Acclamation. Fast Company was one of the leading first season sires in 2014 with 28 individual winners – his best progeny was G2 Royal Ascot Norfolk Stakes winner Baitha Alga. Clodovil is a proven G1 sire by Danehill, he has produced 40 Stakes performers to date including 2 G1 winners (Falmouth Stakes winner Nahoodh and Kingston Town Classic victor Moriarty)."
The ITM Irish Stallion Tour is open to everyone to attend and enjoy. Participants are asked to register their intention to attend by emailing stalliontrail@itm.ie
