Firtsly, Ishebayorgrey mowed them down in the 6f handicap for Pat Martin. Following the race Pat Martin commented "This horse ran well on soft ground last week so I don't think ground is an issue. We'll look for six and seven furlong races. A mile might stretch him." Congratulations to breeder Trish Walsh.

Then, Denis Cullen’s Baby Dinnis came out on top in the mile handicap. Bred by Philip Gilligan, she came from mid-division, and Ross Coakley brought the three-year-old filly down the centre of the track as the field turned into the home straight.

She really started to motor from the two pole and picked up the lead a furlong and a half out. She forged on in the final furlong and was able to hold 7/4 favourite Vocal Warm Up on the rail by a length and three quarters.

"I'm delighted with her. We've always liked her," handler Denis said. “The step up to a mile helped. Things were just happening a bit quick over seven and she needed to learn how to race. At Gowran the last day she got caught up in the trouble at the start and she was a bit of an unknown quantity coming here. She did it well and is a nice filly. We'll look for something similar.”
