Bungle ex Velvet Revolver

The first two yearlings to be offered at public auction by Bungle Inthejungle made €80,000 and €30,000 respectively. The first was a colt consigned by Hubert Honore’s Haras d’Ommeel for owner Chris Wright which made €80,000. The colt ex Velvet Revolver was very much in the mould of his father and it was very apt as Bungle Inthejungle was bred and raced by Chris himself. He was purchased by Fabrice Chappet, trainer of this year’s French 1,000 Guineas winner Precieuse. Then Cadran’s colt ex Allusive Power was sold to Carlos and Yann Lerner for €30,000 – this powerful colt was bred by Dr. Karl-Heinz Werttenberger.
