Press Release Stud Fees 2019
Bungle Inthejungle will stand at a new fee of €12,000.
Maurice Burns, “Bungle Inthejungle exceeded expectations with his first crop of runners 2018. When we purchased “Bungle” he was said to be honest and tough, in Mick Channon’s words “as brave as a lion” and this characteristic has been passed onto each of his progeny – they have a will to win. We have watched each of his runners very closely and he not only physically stamps his stock but he gives them soundness of mind also – that battling attitude that stallion masters hope year in year out their freshman sires can reproduce. For us Bungle Inthejungle has been a revelation, the way he upgrades his mares is palpable and thus, we really look forward to the future as his quality of mares improves. We believe that in time he can become a real force in the stallion ranks.”
Anjaal will remain at €5,000 with his first runners to hit the track in 2019. The son of Bahamian Bounty won the Gr.2 July Stakes and we hope to see his progeny come to hand early.
Clodovil will stand for €10,000 – year on year he is a proven option for high quality two-year-old winners – he has progeny earnings of over £13,000,000 and 44% lifetime winners to runners.
Gregorian has been relocated home to Rathasker Stud and he will stand for €6,000. Gregorian sired 12.2% Stakes performers to runners with six black type horses. We look forward to seeing his 3YO crop and a new batch of 2YOs in 2019.
