Electric Ladyland breaks course record in 2YO debut

Electric Ladyland was positively electric from the gate - it was a very taking performance from the Rathasker Stud homebred on her first run at two years. She overcame lack of experience to beat a couple of rivals who weren't disgraced in the Brocklesby. Electric Ladyland broke the juvenile course record by 0.06sec. She was drawn on the wide outside which she had to overcome but got away well, bagged the lead and dominated throughout, finding plenty in the straight. 

 

Electric Ladyland is a half sister to 2YO winners Simmy's Copshop (5f, OR 90) who was Listed placed in the Rochestown Stakes and Thegreatestshowman (5f, OR82) out of Thousand Words mare Conversational. Conversational has a yearling colt by Anjaal and visits Havana Grey in 2019. This was also the first winner for her sire Cable Bay.
