Ask Me Not (Anjaal ex Dangerous Duo (Intikhab) was quickly into stride and raced prominently through the initial stages of this first go. The well backed 6-5 chalk gained momentum under pressure to lead with 300 metres remaining and kept on strongly inside the final furlong to score by ¾ of a length from Love Vega (Lope De Vega), becoming the first winner for his Rathasker Stud based freshman sire Anjaal (by Bahamian Bounty). Congratulations to his breeder, Amy Marnane and owner Mrs. Theresa Marnane! He is the first foal of an unraced daughter of Serene Dream (Oasis Dream), from the family of Gr.3 Winter Derby winning sire Tranquil Tiger.
