Clodovils Majestic Colt adds second Listed victory

Majestic Colt (Clodovil ex Majestic Dubawi) provided connections with a second Listed success yesterday over 1400m. The five-year-old son of Clodovil tracked the leaders on the rail and opened up into the middle of the track in the home straight for the best ground. Running on well, he was always doing enough to hold off Gr.3 runner-up Zerostress by a half a length. Majestic Colt landed his black-type win on debut in the 1300m Listed Grosser Hannoverscher Sprintpreis, before piking up a Gr.3 placing in the Preis der Annette Hellwig Stiftung last time out. Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, he races in the colours of Jaber Abdullah. He is the second and best produce out of the Gr.3 Firth of Clyde Stakes winner Majestic Dubawi. This is the family of Gr.2 Vintage Stakes scorer Dark Vision and Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat runner-up Lope Y Fernandez. Congratulations to trainer Andreas Wohler.
